Sojitz Corporation recruits around 100 new graduates each year, both in Japan and overseas, to become Global Management Trainees, initially working at our Tokyo Headquarters. We seek graduates of any major who are fluent in English or Japanese, and most importantly, who are passionate individuals, characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit and a global business perspective.
Being a Management Trainee is the start of a career with an organization that spans the globe and with interests in a wide variety of business fields. This is a career and an industry that will not suit everyone—only those who seek an international career characterized by challenge, innovation, and hard work. Likewise, the company only wishes to hire those people who are committed to a long-term career at our company, as we invest heavily in the development our Management Trainees. Fluency in the Japanese language is not required in order to be hired as a Management Trainee. Therefore, we provide intensive Japanese language training for those who need it, along with other training and development opportunities.
- Location: Tokyo (then other domestic or overseas locations)
- Starting Salary: Monthly salary of Yen 208,400 plus bonus (twice per year)
